Design of a personal brand and monogram based on Calligraphy and Lettering. To reach the digital coloured result, the creative process involved an initial stage of conceptualization and a three-stages formalization: Calligraphy, Lettering and digitalizing. From an analysis of Eli's main features, a series of calligraphic sketches were done to define the more suitable styles and forms to represent her. This work, made with a pointed nib in a small size, was enlarged to be used later as a basis.

Then, the letterforms were treated in a more detailed way in order to slightly customize them. Their thickness was also increased —maintaining though the calligraphic ductus. Finally, the composition was redrawn digitally through a professional type editing software. 

Due to the formal complexity of the final logo, it seemed convenient to have a simplified version to apply to small sizes. It was solved with a monogram.
