As an enthusiast of the letterforms’ universe, along with professional services, I offer Calligraphy, Lettering and Type design courses both in Paris and Barcelona areas. My main goal: to approach these disciplines to everyone who is interested in and to naturally share everything I’ve learned so far.

Listed below you will find a selection of some of the educational activities I’ve carried out since early 2016.
Calligraphy or Lettering?
There is no drawing in Calligraphy, letters are written and not retouched. The stroke keeps bare. Consequently, the resulting forms are always different, unique. Technique is indispensable, but precision and a controlled rhythm are good allies to obtain satisfactory results.

There is no drawing in Calligraphy, letters are written and not retouched. The stroke keeps bare. Consequently, the resulting forms are always different, unique. Technique is indispensable, but precision and a controlled rhythm are good allies to obtain satisfactory results.
However, it is the drawing that has the main role in Lettering practice. Regardless of having been first handwritten or not, the letter forms are retouched by drawing over them. The original stroke is normally covered with multiple integrated elements that set up each letter. As well as in Calligraphy, rhythm and precision are important factors for a good execution.
