Custom Lettering logo for Catalina Peix, a communication agency in Barcelona. Brand created through digital Lettering based on connected cursive handwriting. Marta and Claudia, owners of the creative studio, wanted to enhance its female character, so we ended up designing this delicate and elegant logotype.
Always willing to obtain a homogeneous set, the logo was drawn letter by letter, where each glyph is different from the rest.

Unlike mechanical letterforms (type), here all the repeated letters like the «a» or the «i» are non-identical. In this way, the composition denotes more personality and naturalness. The terminals and tails of the letters have been softened with slight curves to make the composition more friendly. Considering the horizontal format of the complete brand «Catalina Peix», which is based on the idea of a signature, we designed also a compact version for specific uses.
